Looking for a room

Join free
Use your Google account, or any email address and a password. Then tell us your first name and whether you’re a brother or a sister. It takes about 2 minutes.
Search your section
Browse rooms by city, rent, move-in date and who you’d live with. You only see your own section.
Or let rooms find you
Post a room-wanted profile with your budget, areas and move-in date. People with rooms in your section can message you. Moving with friends? Tick that you’d rent a whole place together.
Message the lister
Ask questions and arrange a viewing in Jiraan’s chat. Your phone number and email stay private until you choose to share them.
View before you pay
Meet in person, ask to see the landlord’s or lender’s permission letter, and only pay a deposit once you’re happy.

For people who live in or rent the home.

Say how you hold the home
Whether you rent, own with a mortgage or own outright decides whose permission you need. We ask before the room goes up.
Describe the room honestly
Rent, bills, deposit, move-in date, who already lives there, and the halal basics: alcohol, pork, smoking and the kitchen.
Or message people already looking
Browse room-wanted profiles in your section and tell someone about your room, instead of waiting for them to find you.
Chat with people in your section
Only brothers can message about a brothers’ room, and only sisters about a sisters’ room.
Take it down when it’s filled
One click removes the listing. Your conversations stay until you delete your account.
